Privacy
FreeAIHunt is a static directory of free AI resources — no accounts, and at this time no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. This page explains what leaves your browser, why, where it goes, and how to get it deleted. Questions or requests:support@freeaihunt.com.
What is collected
- Votes. Pressing like / dislike on a card sends the resource id and the vote direction. The server also attaches a fingerprint: a one-way hash of your IP address mixed with a secret salt. Your raw IP address is never stored, and the fingerprint cannot be turned back into it.
- Suggestions. The “suggest a resource” form sends the resource name (required) plus whatever you type into the optional description field. The same fingerprint is attached to the record.
- At this time, nothing else. No cookies, no analytics or advertising scripts, no third-party fonts or embeds. Your theme choice and your own votes are kept in your browser's
localStorageand are not sent anywhere else.
Please don't send sensitive information
Share only what a vote or a suggestion needs. Please don't submit sensitive personal information — such as ID or passport numbers, payment details, or health data — through this site.
Where it goes
Votes and suggestions you submit are stored on our servers and used only to aggregate results and review submissions. We delete a record once it has been processed; until then it stays on our servers and is never published.
What the fingerprint is for — and not for
- It is used only to notice repeated votes coming from the same connection while aggregating results. It is never displayed, never sold, never used for advertising or profiling.
- Suggestion text is used only to decide whether a resource should be added.
Third parties
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the HTTP request itself (IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL) in order to serve pages, block abuse and apply rate limiting — under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. Outbound links to other services are governed by those services' policies; FreeAIHunt does not embed their trackers.
Your rights, retention and deletion
- Records are deleted once processed; what remains on the public site is only the aggregate count (likes / dislikes per resource), with no per-visitor data.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your information. To exercise any of these, emailsupport@freeaihunt.com.
- Because only a salted fingerprint is kept, quoting roughly when you submitted (date and resource) is the practical way for us to locate the record.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. If we add something that changes what the site collects or shares — advertising, for example — we will update this page before it goes live, and provide any choices the law requires.
